Hi! I’m Todd Edwards.
In January 2020, I purchased my first DSLR camera after I experienced a major life change. Photography became my way to heal and to start a new life.
Six weeks later came the Pandemic. After work, I would head out to the Carmel parks and search for wildlife to photograph. It was fantastic exercise and the perfect way to get out safely. By June, I had taken over 35,000 shots, most of which were just me learning how to shoot in manual mode. In doing so, I was finding that I would capture images of things that were moving, and those which moved me.
I started to post some of those photos on nature photography social media sites. The response from amateur and professional photographers alike surprised me! Their positive comments and requests to purchase my images encouraged me to hone my craft even more.
What types of photography do you do?
I started in nature and art photography, which will always be my first love. But as colleagues, friends, family, and my Instagram followers started to notice my work, I’ve been asked to do:
Family Photography
Live Entertainment and Event Photography
